A law firm is seeking a Trusts & Estates Attorney for its New York City office to support its expanding private client services practice. This is a strong opportunity for a mid-level attorney seeking a collaborative, entrepreneurial platform with meaningful cross-selling opportunities and firm support.

The ideal candidate will have solid experience drafting a broad range of estate planning documents, including wills, revocable trusts, and irrevocable trusts, along with related ancillary documents such as powers of attorney and healthcare directives. The attorney should be comfortable managing the day-to-day estate planning needs of individuals and families, from straightforward matters to moderately complex planning engagements, and should be able to manage client relationships directly — gathering information and translating client goals into clear, practical estate plans. Experience advising high-net-worth individuals and families on advanced planning strategies such as GRATs, SLATs, and CRATs is a plus, as is exposure to estate and trust administration.

Candidates should have 4–8 years of experience practicing trusts and estates law and be licensed to practice in New York. Salary is expected to be $170,000–$190,000, with flexibility for candidates who bring portable business.
