A leading AmLaw 100 law firm is seeking a Litigation Paralegal for its Charleston, SC office to support attorneys handling complex commercial and business litigation in state and federal courts.

The paralegal will draft pleadings, notices, and motions under attorney guidance, and help prepare deposition notices while organizing deposition materials, exhibits, and summaries. Other responsibilities include managing case files for experts and corporate witnesses ahead of depositions, tracking and managing discovery including preparation and service of document productions, and contributing to litigation strategy meetings as needed.

Candidates should have at least five years of litigation paralegal experience, with appellate experience preferred, along with strong critical thinking skills and the ability to manage complex matters. The firm is looking for a proactive, detail-oriented team player who is comfortable learning new technology. A 2- or 4-year degree and paralegal certificate are preferred, though relevant work experience may substitute for education. Some flexibility for overtime is required.
