Senior Paralegal (IP Litigation) (NY/DC)

A leading law firm is seeking a Senior IP Litigation Paralegal for its New York or Washington, D.C. office. This paralegal will join a high-performing team supporting the firm’s IP Litigation group, partnering closely with attorneys and paralegals to manage complex cases from discovery through trial.

Responsibilities include applying legal and project-management expertise to manage complex litigation matters, building internal and external relationships to gather data and resources, and juggling multiple concurrent projects with strong organizational judgment. The role also involves reviewing and analyzing documents and data, conducting procedural and factual research, and preparing and editing written materials such as correspondence, memoranda, and drafts of legal documents. The paralegal will oversee and mentor junior paralegals and temporary staff, and will meet billable-hour expectations with daily time entry and weekly timecard submission.

Candidates should have a minimum of seven years of relevant IP Litigation experience, including trial experience (ITC experience a plus), along with significant experience managing discovery requests, responses, and document production. Strong research, analytical, and communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and flexibility for overtime and travel are required. A bachelor’s degree is preferred.

New York salary range: $128,000–$179,000. Washington, D.C. salary range: $122,000–$169,000.
