A leading law firm is seeking a Legal Practice Coordinator for its Los Angeles office. This role provides comprehensive administrative and practice support to assigned attorneys, combining calendar management, client relationship coordination, and file management with billing oversight and litigation support. The Coordinator maintains attorney schedules, manages client and matter lists, and handles both paper and electronic records in compliance with firm policy. Responsibilities also include drafting and finalizing legal correspondence, coordinating practice group projects and client events, and supporting business development efforts such as pitch materials and contact database updates. On the litigation side, the Coordinator assists with trial preparation, deposition logistics, exhibit and document management, and court filings. Billing duties include managing attorney time entry, collaborating on prebills and invoicing, and preparing expense reimbursements. The role also covers travel booking and meeting logistics for domestic and international engagements.
Candidates should have a bachelor’s or associate’s degree (preferred) and a minimum of three years’ experience supporting attorneys in a law firm or professional services setting, with litigation experience required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat Pro, DocuSign, and billing platforms such as Aderant or 3E is essential, along with strong organizational skills and sound judgment. The salary range is $80,000$110,000 (non-exempt).
